None of your ‘reasons’ for doing it are worth even mentioning. If you cant learn about the pet that you own and work around the fact that they have claws, then you shouldnt own a cat.
cats have claws and use them for various reasons, if you take away their claws you take away a part of what a cat is, and their outlet for enjoyment and communication.

if you want to get a cat and declaw it, i suggest you get a dog instead, or maybe some goldfish, people dont need to change goldfish!
