LaPerm is a breed of cat that has a unique feature of curly fur, which has given them the name ‘perm’. Tightest perms are located on the belly, throat and base of ears. The animal comes in a variety of colors and patterns. Ringlet and corkscrew type soft wavy and curly coat makes them one of the most beautiful feline. The head and face are triangularly shaped with wide-set ears and large and expressive eyes. Adult males weigh 8-12 pounds and female weight 5-6 pounds.

Basically, LaPerm is a Rex breed of domestic cats that have originated in America and subsequently spread to other parts of the world. However, LaPerm is a genetically unique cat that is no related to any other varieties of Rex cats. A unique dominant gene gives them their ringlet type curls. LaPerm is an elegant looking feline with an athletic build, affectionate personality and active and outgoing temperament. Besides being used as working cats on the farms, they are also suitable as family pets and in the apartment living.

Abyssinian cat is a breed of domesticated cats, which is believed to have been originated in Egyptian port Alexandria. Overall, Abyssinian cat has a strong, medium length, lithe, fine bone structure and well-developed muscular body. Its legs are slender proportionate to the body. It has a fairly long tail broad at the base and slightly tapering to a point. Its paws are small and oval, head is broad and wedge-shaped, eyes are almond shaped golden, green, hazel or copper colored, and nose and chin are in a straight line.
