Savannah cat is a hybrid domestic breed of cats that has been bred by crossing Serval Cats (Mid-Sized African Wild Cats) and Domestic Cats. The first Savannah Cat was developed in 1986 by a Bengal Cat Breeder. Savannah cats are generally compared with dogs when it comes to their temperaments, being very social, friendly, loyal and intelligent.

Savannah are a larger breed of domestic cats that appear larger than their actual weight due to tall and slim body. Size of Savannah vary with the breeds and the largest cat weighs around 30 pounds. Coat of Savannah would depend upon the domestic cat used for cross breeding; however, brown spotted tabby, silver spotted tabby and black varieties are generally common. Besides, Savannah may also come in non-standard colors and patterns including snow colorations, marble patterns and blue. Majority of the breeds have the features and characteristics of wild cats. Body of Savannah is long and leggy with long head, long slender neck and taller legs. Tail is short with black rings and a solid black tip. Eyes are usually blue but may also be green, brown or golden.

Snowshoe is a rare breed of cats that first appeared in 1960 in the United States. It is a relatively newer breed of cats that have been developed by cross-breeding a Siamese cat and a bi-colored American Shorthair cat. It is a sturdy, pointed cat with white markings on the chest, neck and feet. They have great power and agility. Snowshoe cats are generally sweet tempered, energetic, playful, active, intelligent and quite vocal. They can easily adapt to family pets and children.
Snowshoe is a relatively smaller cat with a lean and muscular body. They have large and triangularly shaped ears with slightly rounded tips. Head is also usually triangular and usually with black markings.

Serengeti Cat is a cross-breed between a Bengal Cat and an Oriental Shorthair Cat. It is a tall, golden cat with beautiful black spots. Development is in progress with an ultimate aim to develop a cat similar to Serval Cats but without any blood from wild cats.
