Traditional Siamese Cats are very intelligent and affectionate creatures. They are the most original and first recognized breeds of oriental cats. There are many breeds of Siamese cats but traditional Siamese cats are always in great demand due to their cute features and fun-loving, alert and clam type of temperaments. Many cat fanciers and breeders insist on traditional Siamese varieties because they are long-lived cats, often living for average 15-20 years. Besides, cats over 20 years are also not uncommon.

With their robust health, beautiful personality and excellent temperaments, traditional Siamese cats remain as the most popular and favorite family pets amongst other domestic cats. Besides, many people love to go for traditional Siamese cats for sure shot prize in the top-five categories of various catshows. As a matter of fact, only those Siamese cats that are recognized by National and International Cat Associations are allowed to take part in cat shows. Traditional Siamese Cats almost always fulfill all the requirements as specified for a particular breed.

Savannah cat is a hybrid domestic breed of cats that has been bred by crossing Serval Cats (Mid-Sized African Wild Cats) and Domestic Cats. The first Savannah Cat was developed in 1986 by a Bengal Cat Breeder. Savannah cats are generally compared with dogs when it comes to their temperaments, being very social, friendly, loyal and intelligent.

Savannah are a larger breed of domestic cats that appear larger than their actual weight due to tall and slim body. Size of Savannah vary with the breeds and the largest cat weighs around 30 pounds. Coat of Savannah would depend upon the domestic cat used for cross breeding; however, brown spotted tabby, silver spotted tabby and black varieties are generally common. Besides, Savannah may also come in non-standard colors and patterns including snow colorations, marble patterns and blue. Majority of the breeds have the features and characteristics of wild cats. Body of Savannah is long and leggy with long head, long slender neck and taller legs. Tail is short with black rings and a solid black tip. Eyes are usually blue but may also be green, brown or golden.

Ragdoll is an American cat breed that is best known for its docile and placid temperaments. First Ragdoll breed was created by a Persian Cat Breeder in California in 1960. Ragdoll breed are developed for obtaining selectively desired traits such as large size, gentle demeanor, tendency to go limp when picked up and strikingly beautiful and pointed colorations.

Ragdolls have a sturdy body with large frame, proportionate legs and a soft coat with Siamese-style points. Adult male animals can weight up to 20 pounds while females weigh 10-15 pounds. They have a fatty pad under their abdomen. Ragdoll is a slow-maturing cat that attains full coat at two years of age and full size and weight only by the age of four years. Ragdolls have very gentle, affectionate, docile, placid, friendly and relaxed temperaments. They often seek human companionship and affection. They can remain playful with children and other pets. Ragdolls are also very vocal and often like to communicate with their masters. They are neither aggressive nor can they defend themselves and thus should not be left outdoors unattended.

Ragamuffin is a breed of domestic cat that was discovered in 1994. They are best known for their rabbit-like and snow-like fur and sweet and friendly personalities. Ragamuffin is an extremely docile, cuddly, affectionate, gentle, social and people-loving animals.

Ragamuffin is a longhaired and fairly large-sized cat with males weighing 15-20 pounds and females weighing 10-15 pounds. They are large, muscular and heavy with rectangularly shaped body. Their broad chest and shoulders support short neck. Broad head is wedge-shaped with a rounded forehead. They have moderately heavy muscles in the hindquarters.  Medium length, thick and plush coat comes in all the colors and patterns with or without white, although colorpoints are generally not acceptable by most of the associations. Coat length is slightly longer around the neck and on the outer edges of face. Coat length is medium-length around stomach on the sides. Despite the coat being thick and dense, it does not require regular grooming and easy to care. Ragamuffin do not attain full maturity until the age of four years.

Pixie bob is a breed of cat that was considered as a progeny of naturally occurring Bobcats hybrid. However, later on, the claims were denied after the DNA testing showed no traces of bobcats genes. Nowadays, pixie bob cats are considered as wholly domestic breeds. They resemble North American Bobcats. Few of the species are shorthaired while some species are longhaired. Pixie bobs are highly intelligent, social, active and friendly and sometimes also capable of understanding human words and phrases.

Pixie bob cat is a large animal that weighs around 18 pounds in males and 14 pounds in females. As compared to average domestic cats, which weigh under 10 pounds, pixie bob cats are pretty larger cats.  Majority of pixie bobs have black fur and skin on the bottom of their paws. They have tipped ears with heavy hairs, black lips and white fur around the eyes. Stomach is often reddish-gold with few broken stripes. Eyes are triangularly shaped with heavy eyebrows. Depending upon the species, the breed may be short tailed , long tailed or tail-less.

Ocicat is a rare breed of cats, which is a mixture of Siamese, Abyssinian and American Shorthaired. It has spots resembling wild cats and a temperament of domestic animal. Havana Brown, also known as Swiss Mountain cat, is similar to oriental shorthair cats. It is a moderately sized, muscular and shorthaired cat with a body of average length. Its coat color must be brown and typically reddish brown without any tabby markings. Its whiskers should also be brown. Its eyes are green. Head is longer than wide. Nose should have a distinct stop at the eyes. The name Havana brown is probably derived from the similarity of its coat color with Havana cigars.

Unlike other breeds of cats that use sense of smell to investigate curious items, Havana brown often uses its paws to examine the objects. It also uses its paws to communicate with their masters. It is blessed with a pixyish soft voice however; they can cry loudly when they have lost track of their owners or human companions. They are affectionately sociable, sweet, even-tempered, gentle and intelligent animals. They are playful and mischievous animals that often steal pens, pencils, earrings or whatever they can get into their mouths.

Chartreux is an internationally recognized breed of domestic cats from France. It is a large, muscular and a quiet cat. It is very popular as a companion cat. Chartreux has a fine-boned limbs, big paws and fast reflexes. They have a distinct bluish grey water resistant and short double coat and gold or copper colored eyes. They always appear to be smiling due to the unique structure of their head and long and tapered muzzle. Owing to their exceptional hunting qualities, they were highly prized by the farmers.

Chartreux is a lovable, affectionate, observant and intelligent cat. It rarely makes noise such as mewing or crying and emits a sweet chirrup. They are known to accept children, other pets and household noises with little fuss. Chartreux is playful cat that can be taught to fetch small objects in the same manner as dogs. They are non-aggressive, healthy and good travelers. Chartreux generally tend to have bond with only one person in the household and often following their favorite person from room to room. They have a short to medium length coat that varies in color from ash to slate grey.
