Manx is one oldest breeds of naturally occurring cats native the Island of Man, an Island in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland. Manx have a naturally occurring mutation of spine, which shorten the length of tail and thereby results in a range of tail lengths from normal to a small stub like tail or tail-less. Manx cats are well known as hunters, often hunting down animals such as squirrels and opossum that are large than itself. Farmers often use Manx for getting rid of rodents menace. Besides Ireland, large populations of tail-less cats also exist at many other places in Europe.

Hind legs of Manx are longer than the front legs thereby creating a continuous arch from shoulder to rump, which gives them an overall rounded appearance. Depending upon the length of the tails, Manx are classified into different cats. Shorthaired and longhaired both the breeds have a double coat with a thick and short undercoat and long coarse outer coat. With a friendly and affectionate temperaments, Manx are suitable as family pets and companions.

Himalayan cat is also known as colorpoint Persian and Himmy. Himalayan cat has an extremely long and fluffy fur. It has blue eyes and points of a Siamese. Himalayan is the term referred to in American whereas in Europe it is known as colorpoint. Himalayan is a result of cross between a Siamese (for the markings) and a Persian (for coat length and temperament).

Body of Himalayan cat comes in white or cream however; the points come in many colors such as blue, brown, lilac, chocolate, flame, red and cream. Points can be tabby or tortoiseshell-patterned. Its eyes are deep blue. Its gentle and entertaining disposition makes them as most popular pets. Its body is medium to large, low on the legs, broad and deep through chest and equally massive across shoulders. Despite its fluffy appearance, Himalayan cat has a good muscle tone with no evidence of obesity. Himalayan cat requires regular maintenance to keep the beauty of the cat. Birman Cats is a domestic breed of cats that has a pale colored body and darker points with deep blue eyes. Its country of origin is Burma and it is also known by Sacred Cat of Burma and Sacred Birman. Birman cats are regarded as sacred cats because they were used as sacred companions of Burmese Priests. They were also considered as Temple Cats. Despite its legendary origin, modern history of Birman cats is shrouded in couple of mysteries and controversies.

It is a large, stocky and well-built cat with strikingly round and deep blue eyes.
