Lol Cats

A lol cat is an image produced by combining a picture of a cute looking cat with humorous and very peculiar, eccentric and idiosyncratic slogans and captions. Captions and slogans often comprise of and are created in broken English and by using parodies of poor grammar, funny dialects and Internet slang. LOLCAT is a compound word of LOL (acronym for ‘laughing out loud’) and CAT. Majority of lolcat images are a kind of macros and therefore ‘cat macros’ has been acknowledged as a synonym for lolcat.

Lolcats are designed and created for photo sharing imageboards and other popular Internet Forums. If you were to search lolcats on the Internet Search Engines, you would probably find out over a million of search results, which shows the popularity of lolcats. Lolcats and cat macros shot to limelight during the 1990s when Time magazine covered a detailed article on lolcats. Lolcat or a cat macro generally consists of an image of a cat with a large caption created in fonts such as Sans Serif, Arial Black and Impact. The images are then edited digitally depending upon the creativity and imaginations of the creator. Contents of cat macros may include anything including a joke, social message, current event, human actions and habits and technology, among other.

Fat Cats

Fat Cats

First of all, this article about fat cats has nothing to do with a political term ‘fat cat’ or a term that describes a rich and greedy person. It is all about fat, large, cute and beautiful cats, which are often fancied as a family pet by cat-lovers and pet-lovers. Cuddly, cute and fat cats are nature’ gift to humans; however, scientific developments have made it possible for many breeders to produce tons of cross-bred varieties of fat cats.

Fat cats should be healthy and not over-weight or obese because unhealthy fat cats can become a liability instead of a cute and lovely family pet. Besides, obesity and overweight can not only create several diseases such as arthritis, diabetes and heart disease among the cats but can also shorten the lifespan of cats. If you search on the Internet about fattest cats on record, you might find number of confusing results; however average weight of large-sized cats is generally 15-20 pounds, depending upon the breed and variety. Nevertheless, healthy cats with weight over 40-50 pounds have also been often recorded throughout the world.
