Scottish Fold is a breed of cat, which is often described as ‘Owl-Like’ due to their distinctive ears. Owing to natural dominant gene mutation, ear cartilage contain a fold that causes the ears to bed forwards and down towards the front end of their head and thus giving it an appearance of owl. Scottish Flops were earlier called as Flops due to their floppy ears and the official name came into being in 1966. Savannah cat is a hybrid domestic breed of cats that has been bred by crossing Serval Cats (Mid-Sized African Wild Cats) and Domestic Cats.
